Oh and keeping a regular schedule will help ground and calm vata. That is very important. By doing the same thing each day, our minds know what to expect so there isn't a constant change in thought and execution. Vata is always changing, so the more we can keep steady, the more vata will stay balanced.

Good! Well, a pitta person might actually welcome the cooling qualities of fall. It might feel REALLY good to you, whereas summer may have felt a little hot? The best thing is to enjoy the change and remain mindful. Incorporating grains, milk and ghee will still be important. The "sweet" taste balances both pitta and vata, so favor those foods. As usual bundle up when it's chilly and have warm drinks as opposed to cooling drinks. Warmer breakfasts (oatmeal, cream of wheat, toast w/ghee and cinnamon) will be good to keep you mind focused and centered. :) Hope this helps a little...xo!
