Holiday Mocktails!
December 19th, 2010 · 2 Comments

Yes, it was because of the heat in alcohol and her moving from pitta stage (heat escaping) to vata stage of life. [...]

Tip: Clear Burps
September 6th, 2010 · No Comments
HERE’s a lovely thought: When you have clear/clean burps, it means you have fully digested your last meal and your body is ready to eat! A fine example: It’s 6:00 pm (dinner time) and you are still burping up Indian food you had for lunch (burp talk is just never pretty). That means the food [...]

On Tuesday, a friend of mine posted on her facebook, “Enjoyed listening to Michael BublĂ©, cruised through the Sept issue, and a savored a killer cup of coffee before work this morning. All mornings should be like this!” I wrote a comment and said, “Why can’t they be?!? :) :) MAKE them all like that!! [...]

Well, it’s back-to-school already!! If you have kidlets, I’m sure you’ve gone shopping for rulers, pens, notebooks, fancy calculator, kleenex (do they still make kids bring a box of kleenex!? hah), and probably plenty of new duds. So, Roger Roger, you’ve got the supplies part covered. Now, how much thought have you put into their [...]

For tired or irritated eyes, soak cosmetic pads in rose water and rest on closed eye lids. Cucumber slices also work. Both will reduce redness, soothe the eyes, and add sparkle!

Every month I get a really wonderful fruit box in the mail, but this month I got papayas that were past their ripened stage and a little funky lookin’. I called the company and because they are awesome, they are sending me new fruit. But it left me thinking, “What should I do with these [...]

May 13th, 2010 · 2 Comments
“You should drink 8 glasses of water a day” “Drink a glass of water before your meal for weight loss because you won’t eat as much” “Divide your body weight by half, change that to ounces, and that’s how much water you should drink a day” Any of these sound familiar? These are just three [...]

Take a Breather
May 5th, 2010 · 2 Comments
Show of hands, who is stressed? Yep, many of us are. Women especially, tend to tackle a lot at once and then wonder how they are going to get it all done. Instead of invigoration, this can result in negative emotions like stress, anxiety, panic, and a sense of ungroundedness. Sort of defeats the purpose [...]

Tip: Safflower oil great for skin
March 28th, 2010 · 2 Comments
Hey!! Safflower is a GREAT oil to use in place of body lotion (a la chemicals) for spring and summer. It’s natural, lightweight, non-heating and makes skin sooooo smooth. I LOVE it! Also apply at night around the eyes to reduce crows feet. xo!
