Where is MonicaB?

Hi Sam! Sad! Schedule is drowning me. 11-hour work days are consuming me a little bit. Trying to find my balance so I can still write. The good news, is I am answering emails with your questions and doing some mini buds as well. I’m here! I will try to do better and write more stuff…on the train or something…it’s making me sad! Now, Sam’s question could have meant something else, like where in the world do I live? But interpreting his question from my own perception, shined a light on the fact that I’m neglecting my site. I crave more time in my day/life and I don’t know what to do about it. I’ve tried writing on the train, which works, except for when I take the bus (way too jiggly). Work days are long from 5:45am to 6:00pm and then kiddo time until 8pm. Then more work. Then bed by 10. *scratching my head* No end in sight and not sure what to do. I’ll figure it out though and it won’t be long – cause I am not usually stuck for too long. Maybe HeyMonicaB needs to take a slightly different form. But! I’m here – reading and responding to your emails. Perhaps someone can make a clone of me? Oh wait…that’s not Ayurvedic. The answer is out there and I’ll figure out a solution that works for all of us! Meantime, keep asking questions so I can help you!! XOXOX!

    Hi Monica. I’ve been missing your blog too. Since you inspired me to attend Kerala Ayurveda Academy, my life has completely changed. So thank you Monica. Keep writing when you can. Those of us who love your stuff will cherish your writings when you have time. I’ve been busy too, no time to write on my blog either. Just remember to breathe!

    I find it so inspiring that you write this blog on top of a busy, full, packed life. Even if you can’t write often, I appreciate every post knowing that you are trying to live out these practices in the midst of the challenges we all face.

  3. Hey dear Monica – Just breathe and know that you are exactly where you should be at the moment. (I always tell others that, but really I’m reminding myself, too!) Your site is chock-full of information already (I just came here to link to your Vata page, even though I have had it on my to-do list for a year to put one on my own page…). The beauty of Ayurveda is that it’s thousands of years old and so the information doesn’t change every second. :) I’ve tried writing on the train or plane but it doesn’t work for me. I need to have quiet focus in my own space.

    Hang in there. I remember what it was like having young children. There was no way this Vata could have held down a full-time job and managed a website.
